To the People of God:
Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I pray that all is well with every one of you. We are approaching the season of Passover where we partake of the body and blood of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. This is a joyous time, but a very serious time; a time of soul searching, and self-examination. The Feast of Unleavened Bread is a reminder to rid ourselves of any leavening that may be festering in our hearts and the unleavened state that the body of Christ should exhibit at all times. The Apostle Paul, himself, stated in 1 Corinthians 11:28-31, “But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup. For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord’s body. For this cause, many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep. For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged."
In preparation for the Passover, we are asking that we all unite together in sacrificing by abstaining from eating meat with the exception of Fish. You may eat Fish during this consecration-and please pray at noon. This consecration will begin on Thursday, Abib 10 (April 18th) until the day and time of communion.
